Cost Comparator

We are currently working with the market testing project team at Warwickshire Hospitals NHS Trust to develop an in-house cost comparator that will be used in evaluating the value for money by those who tender for the new contract.
The Cost Comparator option on occasions has been used by Trusts prior to market testing in order to assess whether to include an in-house bid or not. Most recently, a large foundation trust teaching hospital in central London has used this option as part of its decision making process in deciding whether to invite a formal in-house tender bid.
