Green & Kassab working with a London PFI Service Provider to achieve carbon efficiencies

A recently completed assignment undertaken by our team has delivered real carbon and financial savings for one of the largest NHS Trusts in London.
Working alongside the PFI service provider SKANSKA Facilities Services, our team undertook a full evasive audit of the High Volume Air Conditioning (HVAC) plant in the following three hospital sites St Barts, The Royal London and the London Chest Hospital.
A detailed technical report, meeting the requirements of the energy performance of building directive ‘Article 9’ were produced for each of the locations.
The report detailed some early low cost saving opportunities with pay back period within 12/18 months, as well as some more substantial energy saving opportunities.
The Trust is now fully compliant with regards to ‘Article 9’ accreditation requirements and is reviewing other areas of the Estate where our Technical team may be able to assist.
